Domino Man Archivio Recording OLLS
Top of the Pops
BBC Studios
London, UK
9 Nov 1994
Domino Man was
with the band at BBC studios in London on November 9th 1994, the long fateful day when
"One Last Love Song" was transferred to musical immortality on TOP OF THE POPS.
Having to spend the whole day producing three
miserable minutes of television was grueling for the band, who threw themselves into
strumming, sport, and the occasional tipple. |

This shot of
Dave "Hamster" Hemingway is a particular pleasure since it's so rare to see the
taciturn Dave ... play guitar? ... no, smile. Trumpeter Tony Robinson shows his back
to the camera.
During Tony's trumpet solo (recorded) Paul
pretended to receive a call on stage on his friend Trosty's mobile telephone! |
 |
Dave
"Castle" Rotheray whiled away the hours over the snooker table.
During the show, the vocals for OLLS were
live, while the music was recorded so the guys are not, in fact, playing.
Hopefully Stephen Ewashkiw will pass along his
impressions of the "Perfect 10" filming.
